Nominating Committee
Purpose:

The Nominating Committee is charged with selecting candidates for the officers of the Council.

Structure and Procedures:

a) The nominating committee will be selected by the Executive Committee. The names selected will be circulated to the Council 10 days prior to the November business meeting, at which time the Council will approve nominating committee.

b) One member of the Nominating Committee will be selected by the Council Chairperson to chair the Committee.

c) The Nominating Committee will interview and select candidates for Council officers. The names will be mailed to all members at least 10 days prior to the June meeting. At the June meeting, nominations will be accepted from the floor and the Council will then vote for its officers.

d) If vacancies occur among the officers, the Nominating Committee will be consulted by the Chairperson of the Council in filling those vacancies.
